Jr Korpa

Jr Korpa, born in 1974 in Madrid, Spain, is a prominent photographer and visual artist based in Spain, known for his unique style. As a result of his work in an audiovisual medium, JR Korpa began experimenting with photography and painting, seeking to integrate both disciplines.

His art is deeply influenced by the pictorial avant-garde of the last centuries, such as abstract expressionism, constructivism or cubo-futurism. Through his work, he tries to express the plastic potential of photography, creating images that challenge the perception of reality and imagination.

JR Korpa's creative process involves video, painting and photography, using an absolutely original technique developed over years of experimentation. His artistic approach explores universal themes such as identity, human emotions and the connection between the real and the imaginary, using light and shadow, detailed textures and vibrant colors to create a unique atmosphere in each work.
